A little creativity certainly goes a long way.

It's summertime... or at least that's what we're told. It definitely feels like summer, but things look different. Pool parties and lake days are much smaller and it looks like my big trip with my husband will take place stateside this year. It's a bummer, but it's what we've got. At least, for me, hubby and I just have to entertain ourselves and not kids.

That's gotta be tough.

A recent survey has revealed that the average family is missing out on 17 summer events in 2020. These events include vacations, camp, road trips and playdates. On the other side of that coin however, 75 percent of parents say that they are getting more quality time with their kids than they have in past summers.

This is because of the creative new ways parents have kept their children entertained and engaged. The survey also told us exactly what activities have been go-tos for families this year. Spoiler alert: It's a lot of outdoor activities.
