The Platte Valley School District RE-7 and Kersey police are currently searching for a gooseneck trailer that was allegedly stolen from a garage at Platte Valley High School in Kersey.

According to the Greeley Tribune, Bonnie Burcham, a communications specialist for the school district, said the trailer was last seen Oct. 28. She said the trailer was stored in an agriculture lab garage at the school and it suddenly went missing on Oct. 30.

Burcham said the trailer was used by the agriculture department for a variety of purposes including to transport animals.

The trailer is a 2007 Platinum Coach aluminum dual axel gooseneck trailer with white trim, according to the Facebook post. The VIN number is: 5HMXG202071002916. The exact size of the trailer is unknown.

Anyone with information on the trailer should contact the Platte Valley agriculture department or the Kersey Police Department.
