1 in 3 American families struggle with diaper needs, and 48% of food bank recipients delay changing their baby’s diaper. But now, a Fort Collins hotel is looking to help that 48%.

The Fort Collins Quality Inn and Suites University, located at 4001 S. Mason Street, is giving back and trying to help families bridge the gaps caused by these difficult times by providing baby supplies to The Nappie Project to help families in need.

These days have been tough on all of us and we know that some people are struggling even more now.

They are encouraging all Northern Coloradans with boxes or packages of unused diapers to donate those goods to the hotel, who will then donate the products on June 9 to The Nappie Project in Loveland.

If you have a question about the donations, email Joel Reed, the general manager, at JReed@Timberlinehotels.com.

You can learn more about The Nappie Project at their website. However, do keep in mind that while the organization does collect supplies, they do not directly distribute them to those who need them most. Instead, they make sure donations reach diaper pantries, which work directly with those in need of the goods they provide.
