Happy 55th Birthday to One of Country Biggest Stars, Mr. Trace Adkins [VIDEO]

It was 55 years ago today in Springhill, Louisiana that the big booming voice of Trace Adkins was brought into the world. Trace has become one the most recognizable people in our business with his work behind and away from the mic. Trace has been on about every talk show created and has become quite a fine actor as well as one of our best singers.

Trace burst onto the scene in 1996 with the top 20 hit ‘There’s a Girl in Texas’ and has continued to hammer out hit after hit. I last saw Trace when he opened for Toby Keith in Cheyenne and he is sounding as good as ever. Happy birthday big man and thank you for being you. Country music needs your powerful voice and presence.
