Greeley Xeriscape Garden hosts Green Gardening Fair this Saturday

The Greeley Green Gardening Fair is right around the corner, and us gardeners have been dreaming of this day.

The gardening fair happens May 4 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Greeley Xeriscape Garden, 2503 Reservoir Road.  Parking will be available on the east side.

The event features a myriad of gardening needs and wants.

According to the city of Greeley here's what will be available:

• Pick up pre-purchased compost bins and rain barrels
• Weld County Master Gardeners from CSU Extension will answer garden questions
• CoCoRaHS (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network) information
• Demonstrations on worm composting, rain barrels and more
• Greeley West Horticulture and FFA plant sale
• Self-guided tours of the Greeley Xeriscape Garden
