Greeley West Teen Receives Weld County Sheriff’s Scholarship
In my job I am constantly inspired by very impressive young people. I think our future is in very good hands. Recently Weld County Sheriff John Cooke presented Courtney Packard with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office Scholarship Award for her outstanding scholastic achievement and community service.
Courtney attends Greeley West High School and has received the following honors and awards:
- High Academic Honor Roll
- Rotary Youth Leadership Award

- Varsity Letter
- Rotary Student of the Month
- CHSSA IBM High School Heroes nominee
- Boettcher Award applicant.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office offered one award of five hundred dollars this year to a deserving Weld County high school student to assist them in funding their tuition and other eligible expense for the 2015-2016 academic years.
