Several Walmart locations throughout the country are going to include a drive-through, no-cost test site for COVID-19. One that's in our neck of the woods is the Walmart parking lot at 3103 South 23rd Avenue in Greeley, which will offer testing three days a week starting May 22.

The site is open to those that meet the official guidelines for testing. This includes first responders, health care providers, and high-risk individuals.

However, there are a couple rules to get tested at these sites, according to the Greeley Tribune:

To be tested, individuals must schedule an appointment through eTrueNorth at http://www.DoINeedaCOVID19test.com. Accessing this website will allow for screening for individuals to ensure they meet eligibility criteria.
If individuals have difficulty scheduling an appointment, they can call the eTrueNorth COVID-19 support line at (800) 635-8611.

  • Those being tested must wear a mask and remain in their vehicles for verification of eligibility criteria, check of identification and the self-administered test.
  • The site will use a self-administered nasal swab test to allow those being tested to swab their own nose while remaining in their vehicles and being observed by a trained medical volunteer.
  • The test site is not available to anyone who walks up.
  • eTrueNorth will handle processing test samples and communicate results to those tested and to the applicable health department.
  • The site will be staffed by Walmart healthcare professionals.
