The City of Greeley has announced that as of Thursday, March 26, all playgrounds, skate parks, park restrooms and drinking fountains will be 'closed through at least April 30.'

Park equipment and facilities are not sanitized, so this closure is to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, a press release said.

However, the City of Greeley still encourages its residents to enjoy trails and open space, as long as CDC social distancing guidelines are followed.

As of Thursday, the entire state of Colorado will be under 'Stay-at-Home' orders through April 11, put in place by Governor Polis.
