In 1979 the Rodarte Community Center opened and Friday, July 12th the center will celebrate a milestone with its 40thAnniversary.


The event includes tours, presentations, refreshments, and activities for the whole family by Play on the Way.

According to a City of Greeley press release, the event schedule is as follows:

5 to 6 p.m.
Tours, High Plains Library District literacy activities & library truck, music, food and beverages

6 to 7 p.m.
Presentation by community members, guest speakers and Advisory Board

7 to 8:45 p.m.
Bike tours along the Poudre Trail, boxing demonstration, face painting in Hoshiko Park

9 p.m.
Neighborhood Nights Movie – How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (PG)

The celebration is free and happens Friday, July 12 from 5 to 11 p.m.
