Greeley Police Cracking Down on Aggressive U.S. 34 Drivers
The Greeley Police Department plans to crack down on traffic violations on U.S. 34 within Greeley city limits.
Greeley police Sgt. Joe Tymkowych said in a news release the department would be targeting drivers who were speeding and committing other moving violations on U.S. 34.
Anyone who has driven U.S. 34 through Greeley knows how fast people go on that road. In the release Sgt. Tymokowych said that in a span of four-and-a-half hours five officers pulled over more than 40 drivers, and wrote twenty speeding tickets for drivers going more than 80 mph, with two of those citations issued to drivers going over 100 mph.
