From Mid 60s To More Snow This Weekend, It’s March In Colorado

Even though Elitch Gardens isn't up and running quite yet, we can get our roller coaster fix just by riding out these weather waves that have been rolling through Colorado over the past few weeks.

Tis' the season, right? It's coming up on spring here in Colorado and we know what a crazy roller coaster it can be. For example, this week we'll be having temperatures in the 60s even pushing 70 on Wednesday when exactly one week ago we were dealing with record cold temperatures. We'll also be giving way to another cold front that will bring in a few snowflakes this weekend.

In fact, according to KDVR, snow will be possible in the mountains on Thursday night into the weekend. Snow may also fall on the Eastern Plains Friday through Sunday, though this may end up being rain.

The snow isn't expected to be significant for us in the lower elevations as we should expect to see an inch, maybe two at most, on Saturday into Sunday.

So until we can enjoy some big hills and thrills at Elitch Gardens, let's just hang on and enjoy the roller coaster ride that is Colorado weather in March.
