Frederick Man Pulls Gun on Pizza Delivery Driver

A late-night delivery of a pizza in Frederick resulted in a gun being pulled on the delivery driver. According to the Greeley Tribune, at approximately 10:15 p.m. on August 22, a driver delivered a pizza on the porch of a home in the 7400 block of Skyline Street. The woman then returned to her car and drove east on Valley Drive, where she pulled over to locate the address for her next delivery.

When she stopped, a flashlight started to shine through her driver's side window. The man, identified as 62-year-old Timothy Bosonetto, knocked on the window and pointed a gun at her, according to court records.

He asked what she left on his porch. The driver told police that he said "if you don't start talking, I'll shoot you." When she explained that she works for a local pizzeria and she was delivering an order, Bosonetto let her leave.

Bosonetto was contacted by the police and denied that anything out of the ordinary had happened. He stated that he did not order pizza. His son denied ordering the pizza as well. The delivery driver did have a receipt showing the address was, in fact, the address for the Bosonetto residence.

Police were able to locate video evidence that confirmed the driver's account of the incident. The Frederick Police arrested Timothy Bosonetto on August 31 for suspicion of felony menacing and has an advisement hearing on October 9 in the Weld District Court.
