Fort Collins Mom’s Baking Fail Lands Her on Netflix’s ‘Nailed It’
Baking fails? Now, that's a competition show I should probably be on. If you've been binge watching Netflix's new bake-off show, Nailed It, then you've seen Rachel Williamson. A feature run in the Coloradoan revealed that she's a mother of three who used to live in Fort Collins.
We've all been there — you see something pop up on Pinterest that you have to try making yourself... only to realize you've totally #failed. That's where the sarcastic #nailedit hashtag comes in (like those famous Cookie Monster cupcakes).
The popularity of #nailedit Pinterest posts in recent years has led to a new Netflix show, hosted by comedian Nicole Byer. Nailed It producers sought out the people behind these #nailedit photos and put them on the show, which includes Williamson.
The contestants must attempt to recreate Pinterest-post treats, and whoever gets the closest to 'nailing it' wins $10,000. Read Williamson's story via the Coloradoan.
