​Two Northern Colorado Cities Listed as ‘Best to Live In’ in 2025

I believe that all cities and towns in Northern Colorado are great places to live. Each city has its own identity and feel. Northern Coloradans call their home city home for a variety of reasons.

Being close to family, safety, entertainment, and activities are just a few components and reasons why you may reside in a certain place.

Right now, I live in North Fort Collins. I live right smack in the middle of the Choice City and Wellington, and I love it.

Two Northern Colorado cities are receiving recognition for being the best of the best.

New Ranking Gives Love to Northern Colorado

Livability released an annual list that ranked the best cities and towns to live in for 2025.

Here are the two cities that Livability feels are amongst the nation's finest.

Loveland in the Top 100

Loveland is one of the best cities in the nation to live in, according to the ranking. Livability says that Sweetheart City is extremely well-rounded.

They also mentioned all of the outdoor recreation and art spread across the city.

Fort Collins in the Top 100

Fort Collins was also mentioned in the top 100 ranking. Livability noted the city's economy and local businesses that thrive in Fort Collins. Like Loveland, Fort Collins received praise for having many resources for outdoor recreation.

Other Colorado Cities Mentioned

Northern Colorado cities were not the only Colorado cities listed. Broomfield, Castle Rock, Aurora, and Colorado Springs also broke the top 100.

The ranking did not say which cities were better than the other.
