Fort Collins Dog Team Impersonates Judges on AGT [Video]
America's Got Talent is one of the hottest shows on TV, and the hottest stunt-dog team in Fort Collins was on the show on June 1, 2021.
When I heard that Fort Collins' Canine Stars was going to be on America's Got Talent, there's no way I thought they'd be doing what they did when they appeared on Tuesday night, June 1, 2021.
I thought we'd see dogs darting across the stage, jumping through hoops, and diving into pools set up on the stage as they do at their shows around Nothern Colorado, and the U.S. It was completely different from that, and it was awesome.
They had four of the dogs dressed up and impersonating the panel of judges, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell, along with one dog impersonating the host of the show, Terry Crews.
It's that comedy-bit where humans get behind the dogs and use their own arms and hands to represent the dogs' appendages. It's always a hoot. The team also added in captured audio of the judges, as they performed a sketch about the dogs being on the show.
Another member of the dog team comes out with a trainer to perform for the judges; that performance does not meet the 'judges' liking.
The next 'act' meets with such satisfaction, that 'Heidi' gives them the golden buzzer, with a trainer receiving 'CPR" from one of the dogs after 'dying' from excitement.
It was a very creative way to show off the team, and the actual judges really enjoyed them as well, giving the Canine Stars four 'Yes' votes and moved on to the next round.
