Fort Collins Bowling Alley is Forced to Pick Up the Pieces After Car Crashes Into Building

A car crashed through a Fort Collins bowling alley Thursday around noon. The car came to a stop just inside the restrooms of the building. The bowling alley is now left with picking up the pieces and will be forced to repair the recently remodeled bathroom.

The Coloradoan is reporting that an investigation into the crash continues, but we do know that Thursday around noon an 89-year-old woman drove her Cadillac into the Chippers bowling alley building at the corner of Mason and Horsetooth in Fort Collins. Her vehicle came to rest in the ladies restroom.

Police are not sure why the woman failed to stop while she was attempting to park. She was taken to Poudre Valley Hospital for an evaluation. The Coloradoan went on to add that the woman, whose name is being withheld, did not have any visible injuries.

No bowlers or employees were injured in the crash.
