The corner of 5th and Main in Downtown Windsor will go from being known for brakes and such to being known for burpees and fitness belts.

The summer of 2019 saw Pike's Auto move from its longtime location down the street the corner of 8th and Main. I had three suggestions last August as to what might become of the 'old' Pike's. Not one of them was 'a gym.'

It looks like Red Zone NoCo will be taking over the space, sometime soon.

They describe themselves as a place for 'one-hour fitness sessions,' where customers will wear specialized belts that keep track of their workouts and their heart-rate, to help burn maximum calories.

They state that there'll be no contracts, and the longer that you are a member, the lower your fee will be.

They have a design for the gym/fitness center, but their website is not up yet. Hopefully, those looking for a new workout facility in Windsor will have one before summer ends.
