Former Basketball Coach Who Threatened Fort Collins Churches has been Arrested in Utah

Just weeks after Fort Collins police issued a warning to church leaders about 32 year old Christopher Dewitt Craig, he has been arrested in Utah for the possession of drugs.

Craig, who describes himself as an Islamic Jihadist, who had threatened area churches has been picked up on drug charges in Utah. According to the Coloradoan Craig was caught with Marijuana and a pipe in his car.

Craig had made threatening statements about churches in the area, saying Mormons and Catholics would be destroyed in the coming weeks.

In regards to his arrest Utah authorities said:

Craig was cooperative but seemed agitated at times, telling officers he believed marijuana was a “holy spirit” while using a mixture of Jewish and Christian terminology to reference the apocalypse.
