According to the Coloradoan, the developers of the Foothills Mall announced today seven new retailers that will be part of the newly built enclosed mall in Fort Collins.

The new businesses announced for the mall include:

The newly announced businesses join about 24 other retailers who have already signed on for the project.

Big Daddy's and Lids are the only businesses that are brand new to the Fort Collins marketplace, with Big Daddy's announcing a new Longmont location two weeks ago and speculation starting that time if a Fort Collins location was right around the corner.

With five months left until the opening of the mall, space is at 53% of the available retail space. That equates to close to 271,000 square feet of the 516,000 square feet that is available.

Restaurants have been the focus of new businesses that are moving into the new mall. Prior restaurants that were announced include Bar Louie, Grimaldi's Pizza, Longhorn Steakhouse, Smashburger, and the Melt.

Developers of the mall hope to have the location open in November, just in time for the start of the holiday shopping season.
