My Two Favorite Flea Markets in Fort Collins

This past weekend, I did something that, for some reason, I hardly ever do, but love so much. And every time I do, I wonder why I don't do it more.

Enough with the build-up; let me just tell you what I'm talking about. Going to the flea market, and luckily for me, Fort Collins has an official row of extensive flea markets.

There were so many things to look at that I felt like I was in retro heaven. Here are my two favorite flea markets I visited and why they stand out.

Fort Collins Flea Market

It always amazes me when I hear someone say they bought a classic, cool clothing piece from an online website. A lot of companies will repurpose the look and create brand new pieces. Meaning they charge lots of money for clothing that looks old.

The Fort Collins Flea Market has a ton of actual pieces from back in the day. I bought a Penny Lane coat from the nineteen sixties for a cool forty bucks. Yes, it smells odd, but that's how you know it's the real deal.

Vintage Marketplace

If you have a burning passion for classic and often frightening-looking toys, you need to check this place out. Rather than taking your kid to Target or Walmart for a brand new toy, take your kids to the flea market where you can not only save money, but there's a good chance your kid will pick something you once played with. Like a Rainbow Bright doll.
