One of the quintessential Colorado experiences is going to a show at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison.
After only living here for a few months, I made my first trip out to the iconic venue this past July. It was everything I imagined it would be and more!

The energy was electric, the music was amazing, and the people there were next level! Everyone was so excited to be there despite the iffy weather.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre sits on 738 total acres of land, not too far outside of Denver, according to the official venue website.
We can all agree that the views of Red Rocks are both figurately and literally breathtaking. It's actually located 6,450 feet above sea level.
Some of the biggest names in the world have performed on the stage: from the Beatles to Willie Nelson and the Grateful Dead. This spot in Colorado might be one of the greatest places in music history.
