If you know me, you know I totally fit the mold when it comes to being a fall basic b.....

There are two surefire ways to get me in the mood for cozy season, and I want to share them with you. So let's take a look at these very fun and very fall Northern Colorado activities.

Coffee

If it's fall and you're planning on fall-ing it up in 2026, you absolutely must have a coffee in your hand at all times. Luckily, in Northern Colorado, we have so much more than just Starbucks. Check out the fall menu from local coffee shops: Human Bean, Bindle Coffee, or perhaps HARBINGER COFFEE in Fort Collins.

One super cute Instagram-worthy cup of local coffee will set you back around $6.00, but you're going to need that caffeine to get you through apple picking with your screaming toddler and mother-in-law.

Pumpkin Patches

There's nothing like dressing your kid in flannel that matches yours and taking pictures at the pumpkin patch. Because you're fun, laid-back, and love gourds. But how much will a day at the pumpkin patch set you back?

That's a great question. Why not check out The Bartels Farm in Wellington? You can take your family for a fun day of fall festivities right here in Northern Colorado without paying a hefty entry fee.

At The Bartels Farm, it's free to get in, and there's plenty to do, from adorable farm animals to a tiny fun town for the kids; your fall self will be in heaven. Now, if you want to go on a hayride or purchase pumpkins, you can do so, but the basics are free and fun. Also be sure to check out Fritzler Farm Park and Osbourn Farm.

These are two of my favorite must-dos every fall season in Northern Colorado. Local coffee and the local pumpkin patches for the win.
