New Colorado Driving Scam Tricking Many Residents
Another scam has come to the surface in Colorado. You need to look out for this one. You especially need to look out for this scam if you make long commutes. A new scam is targeting drivers that use the Express Lane.
New Scam Targets Colorado Drivers
The Colorado Department of Transportation shared an urgent message across social media this week.
Their goal is to make residents aware of a new scam. Residents have reported text messages that ask for payment for unpaid Colorado Express Lane and ExpressToll fees.

The text message asks their victims to click on a link to submit a payment.
The scammers then will collect your financial information and use it against you. The Colorado Department of Transportation says they will never send toll payment requests from a text message. You can pay your tolls through your ExpressToll account or via mail.
Another New Scam to Look Out For in Colorado
It certainly feels like there is a new scam every single day.
Just a few days ago we told you about the latest scam called brushing. Brushing is when a scam artist will send a package to your door.
A "seller" gives you a free product. In return, they ask victims to scan a QR code to leave a review. Well, that QR code asks for personal information and installs malware on your electronic device. If you would like to learn more you can check out the full story below.
