A 17-year-old from Eaton set a National Western Stock Show record Friday night by selling her Grand Champion lamb in the 2015 Auction of Junior Livestock Champions. Jenna Frink sold the lamb, Unfinished Business, to Denver’s Transwest Trucks, Inc. for $40,000.

Jenna is a senior at Highland High School. She told me she will use her money to pay for college. Jenna plans on attending Colorado State University and obtaining a degree in Ag Science/Ag Business.

Her twin sister Kayla also sold her 1st place lamb at the Stock Show for $5,500. Both are winners of the 2015 Chuck Urano Memorial Scholarship, presented by the Colorado Farm Show, which is this week at Island Grove Park. Their younger sister Lauren also had 2nd and 3rd place lambs at the Stock Show.
