Despite the Rumors – Betty White is Not Dead

You can't believe every thing you read and make sure you read it carefully. Betty White is alive and kicking despite recent rumors on Twitter.  Some fans most likely fans misread the headline of a satirical story published by Empire News on Wednesday that said the 92-year-old actress "Dyes Peacefully In Her Los Angeles Home."

According to CNN, Many fans mistook "dyes" for  "dies", without actually reading the story, which only revealed that White "is not a natural blonde."

The story included an alleged quote from White's agent, Jeff Witjas, saying that she "has been dying her own hair in her home for decades."
