Rodrigo was 10 years old, and according to the Denver Zoo, that's about as old as capybaras get to be. They also, apparently, get very big.

There's no denying that Rodrigo had an adorable face, but when I looked up 'what is a capybara,' I was shocked. Shocked to find out capybara are giant rodents. They mostly live in caves in South America.

The picture that the zoo provided, didn't really provide 'scale,' so I looked them up on YouTube, and the video below is not an exaggeration on how big capybaras get. My brother has a border collie, featured in this video, so I chose it as the one to feature.

OMG.  Nope. Nope. Nope.

Rest in Peace, Rodrigo.
