Denver Decriminalizes Shrooms in Vote

Denver, Colorado will become the first city in the United States to decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms. The mushrooms will still be illegal but would become Denver PD's lowest priority.

Final unofficial votes show that Initiative 301 will pass with 50.6 percent of the vote in favor of decriminalization. Initiative 301 instructs law enforcement to treat possession of the mushrooms as their lowest priority via ordinance.
