CSU Will Start Spring 2021 Semester With Remote Learning
Colorado State University President Joyce McConnell announced the school's plan for students returning after winter break, stating that online remote learning will continue for now.
'This coming semester is still going to look different,' President McConnell said in her video announcement, adding that the school's two top priorities this spring are to keep the university and the surrounding community healthy, and to continue to offer a 'high-caliber academic experience.'
There will be a three-phase schedule for the spring 2021 semester. On January 19, all classes will begin online for phase one. Phase two, starting one week later, will integrate hybrid learning for some labs, studio classes, senior capstones and more, though most classes will remain online.
In February, CSU will move into phase three, and assess which classes can shift to hybrid or in-person learning, to the extent that local public health guidelines will allow at that time.
