For just the second time in program history, the Rams will be fighting for the conference title.

In head coach Keeley Hagen's first season at the helm for Colorado State, the Rams have accumulated a fair amount of season accolades and success. With three weekly conference awards and a 5-4-1 record in conference play, CSU has a chance to be incredibly successful in the championship tournament.

The Rams took their first trip to the tournament for the first time in program history in 2019. They ultimately lost in the first round when their game against Fresno State in penalty kicks.

Before last week, CSU was on a five-game win streak, the longest in program history, before it was snapped by Utah State on Thursday, Oct. 21.

However, the name of the game for the Rams has been true teamwork. Selflessness and awareness have been the two factors that have made CSU a force throughout the meat of their conference play. The season's most thrilling wins have come from selfless passes to a teammate that simply had a better look.

That philosophy and the accountability Hagen toted at the beginning of the season, have put the Rams in a pretty good position for the postseason, even with a fair amount of new faces on the roster.

The Mountain West women's soccer championship tournament will run from Nov. 1 to Nov. 6 in Boise, Idaho. The Rams currently sit in fourth place in the Mountain West, and it has not yet been announced who their first-round opponent will be in the tournament.
