Premiere Date, Preview for A&E’s New Show ‘Crazy Hearts: Nashville’ Revealed
A&E has seen lots of drama with the recent 'Duck Dynasty' controversy, and they're going to find more drama with their new original series, 'Crazy Hearts: Nashville.' Fortunately, all the action will (hopefully) be part of the show, which is set to air this January.
'Crazy Hearts' promises “love triangles and fiery relationships that will cause rivalry both on and offstage."
The show follows some of the most talented up-and-coming country musicians, going 'backstage' in their personal lives as they balance life, love and their pursuit of stardom -- one gig at a time -- highlighting their struggles, romance and music.
Of course, the 'Crazy Hearts' cast is a slew of diverse personalities that spark fiery relationships, produce amazing performances and are neck-in-neck in stiff competition to become Music City's next big star. This group of country music newcomers and industry insiders intertwine their personal and professional lives in ways that look so wrong, but feel so right.
Naturally, there will be no shortage of drama or talent.
Southern belle Lee Holyfield is the daughter of legendary songwriter Wayland Holyfield and is rebounding from a broken heart. The heartbreaker is Leroy Powell, a country rocker who has toured with the likes of ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and a new prospect for him is Hannah Fairlight, a sultry and tough-talking songwriter hailing from Atlanta. See what we mean about love triangles?
There are all sorts of other dramatic characters that will naturally eventually butt heads, kindle romance or fight their way to the top of the entertainment industry, comprising all the dreams and drama of a country song.
'Crazy Hearts: Nashville' premieres Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 11PM ET and Thursday, Jan. 16 at 10PM ET on A&E.
