Colorado Parks and Wildlife are searching for a driver who hit a bear on Tuesday night.

In Morrison Colorado, on Highway 285 near Windy Point the Colorado State Patrol were called to the scene, according to Fox 31 News.

However, part of the bear had been removed and CPW suggests foul play from the driver at is it is illegal to cut off and steal parts of dead wildlife.

CPW is looking for a gold pickup and asking for the public's help in finding the driver.
