NASA's Artemis program is celebrating their 13 graduates today, 2 of which hail from Colorado.

The Artemis program will send humans back to the moon for the first time since 1972, according to 9News, and could also be the first people to land on Mars. NASA is planning voyages that will take place from 2024-2030.

The pins that these astronauts are receiving is a symbolic badge that represents their eligibility to fly in space. The Coloradans in the program are Matthew Dominick, who hails from Wheat Ridge, and Jessica Watkins from Lafayette.

Congratulations to the Artemis graduates!
