We already know that it's bad because we've smelled like campfire for days, but the four major wildfires burning in Colorado are creating so much smoke, NASA was able to capture the smoke on satellite images from space. 

While we're geographically not that close to the Pine Gulch and Grizzly Creek fires, you can see the haze cover the Front Range before the Cameron Peak Fire started last Thursday.

Now, a majority of the smoke we're getting in the Fort Collins area is coming from Cameron Peak Fire, west of the city near Red Feather Lakes. The wildfire has burned over 13,000 acres and is not contained (as of August 19).

According to the National Weather Service, Larimer County is still under an Air Quality Alert.
