Pueblo Police were searching for the driver of a red Corvette clocked at 112 MPH driving down Northern Avenue in Pueblo on Saturday.

Thanks to social media, authorities got their man.

A 29-year-old suspect was caught and cited on Wednesday after bragging about speed racing on social media, according to KKTV 11 News. He received a 32-point citation and has his vehicle seized.

The suspect could lose his vehicle for up to six months.

Pueblo PD hopes the incident is a "stiff reminder to everyone who insists on turning our city streets into a dragstrip that we are taking this issue very seriously."
