Colorado Foster Homes Needed For Hundreds Of Texas Puppies
There is a dire need for people to foster some puppies that have been left out in the cold down in Texas. The bitter temps that have swept our area and the nation has prompted MAMCO (Moms and Mutts Colorado Rescue) to make the largest puppy rescue transport ever.
According to 9 News, the rescue is preparing to transport 117 puppies, dogs and nursing mothers from Texas to Colorado next Tuesday evening. These dogs have been pretty much abandoned and left out in the cold, so there is a big need for people to foster these pups and make sure they are warm, fed and given lots of love.
Since there aren't many places to put them in Texas, the group will be making their way up to Colorado. But before the transport even arrives, MAMCO is desperately seeking foster homes.
To make things easier for potential foster parents, MAMCO will provide food, toys, puppy pads, play pens, etc...Pretty much anything you would need to help make foster transition smooth and help make the pup feel comfortable in its new surroundings.
If you are interested in adopting one of these animals, you can fill out an application HERE.
If you aren't able to adopt, MAMCO would greatly appreciate these items for donations: towels, blankets, sheets and puppy food.
