The sticker for the supercar is well over a half a million dollars. When the 3-D printed version of the car is complete, the total cost for the Backus family will be around $20,000. The heart of the car will have a Corvette engine and parts from other vehicle manufacturers. The project should be completed in the spring, where it will then get a vehicle identification number and be street legal.
