Before They Were Famous: Chuck Wicks
Before Chuck Wicks released ‘Stealing Cinderella’ and spent eight weeks on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ with then-girlfriend Julianne Hough, he was a potato farmer. The Delaware native grew up on his family’s spud farm, working from the time he was 8-years-old until he headed off to college.
Wicks grew accustomed to the early mornings and hard work out in the field, so when he returned to a potato farm on GAC-TV’s ‘Day Jobs,’ the sights and smells were familiar. One pleasure he had on the television show that his dad never gave him at home, however, was operating the harvester.
