The Denver Broncos are getting ready to face the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Empower Field to try and capture their 3rd win in a row.

These two franchises have been locking horns since their AFL days in 1960 when the Chiefs were formerly knows as the Dallas Texans.

The Chiefs lead the overall series 65-55 and have won the last NINE meetings. Denver's last win came at Kansas City in  2015...the year the Broncos went on to claim Super Bowl 50. Their last win at home against the Chiefs was in 2014.

Both of last year's matchups were blowouts and if this year is to be any different, the Broncos D (which showed up beautifully in the win over Cam Newton and the Patriots last week) needs to show up again...and make even more big plays against reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and company.
