Brian, Susan, and I were finalists for the ACM Small Market Personalities of the Year. That meant they gave us free tickets to the 51st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
I don't know why, but the live show is always better than the show you see on TV. There is something very special about being there. There were wonderful performances. Tim McGraw performing "Humble and Kind" and Dolly Parton and Katy Perry doing a medley of Dolly songs were my favorites. I also loved Carrie Underwood's new song.
