Two of my most favorite things that start with the letter "B" have officially teamed up. Bourbon and the Broncos. Breckenridge Distillery has announced a limited edition run of a Denver Broncos Bourbon.

The Champions Blend from Breckenridge Distillery offers two distinct bottles. Orange and Blue. Both blended bourbons are bottled at 86 proof but offer two different flavor profiles.

Orange Blend

The flavor profile of the orange blend offers a caramel apple bomb, fig, and ryegrass on the nose. Apricot, rye, and caramel apple are present on the palate. When it comes to the finish of the Orange Blend you will taste black pepper and subtle hints of tobacco.

Blue Blend

Contrasting from the Orange Blend, the Blue Blend's nose is holiday spice, brown sugar, and black tea. Guava, red apple, cherry, lactone, and cut grass describe the palate. On the finish of the Blue Blend, you will taste mature oak and spice.

Based on the flavor profiles, which Champions Blend would you pick? Personally, they both sound outstanding. However, my tastes in bourbon gravitate me toward the Orange Champions Blend.
