Brainiac Bowl a Huge Success [PHOTOS]

Over the weekend K99 participated in the Brainiac Bowl to benefit the Discovery Science Center. 7News Chief Meteorologist Mike Nelson hosted the event.  The K99 team was dubbed "The Injured Intellectuals". After the 1st round we were in 3rd place.  The team had only missed 4 questions.  After the 2nd round...Did I mention after the 1st round, K99 was in 3rd place?

This event is so much fun.  Everyone really gets into the costume contest and the trivia contest gets quite competitive. Mike Nelson also has a special knack for making sure everyone has an amazing time. We called ourselves the "Injured Intellectuals" because we all gave ourselves a major injury.  We were paying tribute to Mike's wife Cindy who just had major surgery on her foot.  We put together some pictures to show how much fun we had.
