It goes without saying that these last couple of years have been challenging for us all. Not just as individuals, but so many businesses and events have also been greatly affected by the restrictions and staffing issues that have come with this "new normal". Sadly, it was just announced that Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest will not be returning.

Bohemian Nights had the following to say on their official website:

"We have reflected on our work and have decided to discontinue Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. We’re excited for Thursday Night Live 2022 and look forward to finding new ways to build community through live music"

If you've lived in Northern Colorado in the last 15 years, specifically Fort Collins, you've no doubt been to the Northern Colorado summer tradition that was Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. It was a free event each summer and brought in many big national artists over the years. Northern Colorado got to experience huge bands like Colorado's own The Fray, Cake, Blondie, The Steve Miller Band, Pat Benatar, Earth, Wind & Fire, Michael Franti, Big Head Todd & The Monsters and so many more. It was a giant Northern Colorado Event not just because they brought in awesome bands for free, but because it was tradition.

While we'll miss NewWestFest, another NoCo tradition that's here to stay is the Taste Of Fort Collins, which is one of the BIGGEST summer events in Northern Colorado. Last year over 25,000 Northern Colorado music & food lovers got to partake in a weekend full of delicious local food vendors, live local music, and amazing national acts like the Spin Doctors and Nelly.

The 2022 Taste of Fort Collins is set to go June 11th & 12th with acts to be announced soon. Have no fear, NoCo, we'll still be ready to Party in Downtown Fort Collins in 2022.

You might be bored this weekend without a Broncos game to watch. Here's some things to do
