Activities In Northern Colorado My Kid Loves
Keeping a kid busy and happy, especially during the summer months, can get tricky. But Northern Colorado has some pretty cool options. Here are just a few places my kid never gets tired of visiting.
Twin Silos Park
Twin Silos Park in Fort Collins is Murphy's favorite park. It's huge, it's clean, and it has a zipline. She will literally zipline for hours and hours if she can. Parks are free and fun, and being outside is the best way to tire her out. And isn't that the ultimate goal?
Little Monsters
She's pretty much aged out of Little Monsters, but she loves visiting with her little cousin. The space at the Wellington location is huge and offers little ones a ball pit, slides, and netting kids love to climb up. There's also a location in Windsor if that's closer to you.
Loveland Laser Tag
How many times can my 8-year-old go rounds in laser tag? Infinity times. I know because the last time we went to Loveland Laser Tag, we were there for hours and hours and hours. It was a fun day, but also a very long day. Where do kids get so much energy?
Holiday Twin Drive-In
Okay, this is one place our whole family can agree on when we're looking for an activity. Did you know Fort Collins has one of the few Drive-in locations in the United States? With only 250-300 national locations, having one in Northern Colorado is very cool.
Old Town Fort Collins
This is definitely a family favorite. Murphy loves the splash pads, I love shopping, and Ryan loves the many ice cream shops. Old Town Fort Collins has a ton of activities and often hosts local musicians, artists, and food trucks.
