Budweiser Is Giving Away Free Beer For America's 250th

Two things that totally go together are beer and the 4th of July, and Budweiser is celebrating America's 250th in a major way by giving away free beer. You heard me right, free beer.

Here's how you can claim your free drink.

Budweiser is going to make you put in a little work before you can cash in. But don't worry because it isn't anything too difficult.

How to claim your free beer

All you have to do is go onto their "America's Tab" promotional page and fill in some info. Nothing crazy, just your name, email, date of birth, zip code, and whether or not you're allergic to penicillin. Just kidding, I made that last one up.

Who can claim the free beer?

US residents 21 and older.

What you get

Once you visit the website and fill out the info, you'll be able to download a $6 voucher, which is the average cost of a 12-ounce draft beer. Pretty sweet. If the location you choose charges more than $6, you will have to pay the difference, but that's not too bad considering.

Budweiser has allocated $150,000 for the promotion, so you have to get on it before the cutoff. The free beer voucher is in celebration of America's 250th, which oddly enough coincides with Budweiser's 150th.

The vouchers are through Visa and Mastercard, which can be used at any bar, sports bar, resturaunts, and breweries that serve Budweiser draft.

Northern Colorado has some pretty solid resturaunts and bars, so take your pick and cash in on a free Budweiser beer. You can also visit the Budweiser plant off of I-25 near Wellington.
