If you are like me, your first introduction to craft beer when living in Colorado was New Belgium's Fat Tire. It's been a tried and true beer that we have all been enjoying for years now. If you love Fat Tire, you need to know about the new Fat Tire flavor that will be hitting shelves late this summer!

On April 4th New Belgium Brewing announced their new beer in a press release:

“Fat Tire Belgian White captures the spirit and flavor of a truly authentic Belgian White beer,” said New Belgium’s Belgian Brewmaster, Peter Bouckaert. “We are sourcing the Seville orange peel and coriander through Old Town Spice Shop locally here in Fort Collins, so the spices are freshly ground less than a mile from our brewery. This gives the beer a fuller, fresher flavor and aroma resulting in a very drinkable Belgian White beer with just the right amount of complexity.”

Fat Tire Belgian White is a white wheat ale with an ABV of 5.2% and 12 IBUs.

I know I am excited to try out this new flavor of Fat Tire! However, we will have to wait a while as Fat Tire Belgian White will not be available until August 1st. New Belgium's Fat Tire Belgian White will be sold in 12 oz. bottles, in can variety packs and on draft. Cheers!
