Another Woodworking Project in the Making

The other night I started on another project. I am not going to say what it is just yet, I need to finish it and present it before I can reveal what it is for. I will say that this is a very special project. The wood I have chosen to use is Purpleheart and Hard Maple. Here is what I have done so far on this special project:

I should be able to complete more work on this project tonight. I need to have it done by next Tuesday, but I don't want to rush it. I'll post more as I progress!
