There has been a lot of buzz regarding new businesses coming to Northern Colorado. Buc-ee's opened its first Colorado location in Johnstown one year ago.

There is a brand new King Soopers on Drake and College in Fort Collins. There are also future plans to build a new Dutch Bros. Coffee right outside of Costco in Timnath. Another new chain is likely coming to Northern Colorado and we are very excited about it.

Fort Collins Grocery Proposal

Plans have been officially shared with the city of Fort Collins to build a brand-new grocery store. According to the Coloradoan, the grocery store plans to be one-story and 18,000 square feet.

The location of the proposed grocery store will be at 2839 S. College Ave. You might remember that Joann Fabrics used to be located here.

The detailed plans confirm that Denver's Rogue Architecture firm plans to build a grocery store.

Why We Believe an Aldi's Is Coming to Northern Colorado

We want to tell you first that it has not been confirmed that Aldi is coming to the city of Fort Collins. However, there are some clues that it likely is. Aldi is planning on making a very aggressive expansion this year. Aldi is specifically looking to add many Colorado locations.

Regarding the layout and criteria for an Aldi, the building needs to be at least 18,000 square feet and have at least 85 parking spots for its customers.
