AJ’s Outdoor Adventures: Visiting Red Rocks For The 1st Time

What a day trip. Colorado is an incredible state...and I've only been here to experience it for two weeks. I've been making the best of my free time to hike, bike, drive and just explore as many places as possible.

I am an avid outdoorsman and love to find new places to explore whether it be a solo exploration or one with my family. On THIS particular occasion, it was a Saturday filled with adventure and discoveries.

It started with a trip to a place that has been on my bucket list for many years and that's Red Rocks Amphitheater. Up until a few days before, I never knew that you could check out the venue up close and hike different trails in and around the facility...so I did. It's even more jaw dropping than I had ever imagined. I simply walked around and took in the scenery and just imagined myself being there for some of the greatest shows ever. (Can't wait to see one in person) I also really enjoyed the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and Trading Post.

Leaving Central City, I continued on the Peak to Peak Highway loop down to Boulder and back up to Fort Collins.
