Northern Colorado Shelter Waives Adoption Fees Due to Capacity
Each week we post our Townsquare NOCO Pet of the Week. We like to highlight animals that are looking for their forever home in Northern Colorado. We specifically highlight dogs, cats, and other critters that are available at NOCO Humane.
What we have learned over the past few months is that NOCO Humane goes above and beyond to ensure that their animals are healthy, happy, and prepared for the next chapter of their lives.
NOCO Humane let us know that they are at full capacity and they need homes for the animals they host in their shelter.
Adoption Fees Waived At NOCO Humane
Adoption fees have been waived for July at NOCO Humane. KDVR reports that last month NOCO Humane took in 900 animals. Due to the number of animals that NOCO Humane welcomed with open arms, they need to find homes for the animals to ensure every animal at their campuses is comfortable.
The waived fees are both at their Weld Campus in Evans as well as their new state-of-the-art campus in Loveland. The Greeley Tribune reported that over 400 animals were looking for homes on July 2.
Here is what NOCO Humane said.
Effective immediately, adoption fees for all animals, of any age, will be waived at both of our Larimer and Weld shelter campuses (licensing fees still apply). Our beloved animals are eager to find homes to call their own – open your heart and your home to a homeless animal, you will be rewarded with love and loyalty beyond measure.
