Living in Northern Colorado, we're really lucky to have so many unique opportunities and fun things to do, right in the palm of our hands. Trying a new restaurant or hitting up a local venue is awesome, but it's also nice to do something that doesn't require spending a dime. Here are 7 things in the Front Range that you can do without even opening your wallet.

Whether you're a beer drinker or not, going on a brewery tour is both a fun and interesting experience. Not only do you get to see the process of beer making from start to finish, they also hook you up with free samples along the way. Tours at places like New Belgium and Odell's are completely free, just make sure to register ahead of time.

Buying a membership to a yoga studio can be pricey, but fortunately for Fort Collins yogis, there's a free meet up group that is open to locals of all levels. The group meets at different locations around town, including parks, festivals, libraries, and breweries. Space in these free classes does fill quickly, so something else you'll definitely want to sign up for beforehand.

There's nothing more refreshing for the soul than being surrounded by the amazing sights and sounds in the Poudre Canyon. Especially in the summer, taking a quick drive to the river and even going in for a dip, beats a crowded pool any day.

Every first Friday of the month, 15 galleries, museums, and art-minded shops keep their doors open later than normal, so locals can stop in on a self-guided walking tour. From 6-9 p.m., these places feature things like new and interactive displays, or artists talks. Buying something will cost you of course, but looking and walking is free.
